On October 2nd, 2018 the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) published Addendum No. 3 to the Terms of Reference (TOR) of the so-called Permanent Competitive Procedure – 2018. Addendum No. 3 orders the temporary suspension of the permanent competitive procedure, including the postulation of areas made to date under Section 3.3 of the Terms of Reference. Accordingly, organisations that collect children’s personal data online have a shared responsibility to ensure that such personal data is collected with the appropriate consent obtained and is adequately protected, and to allow children to safely participate in the online space.
